Products and Services from 3rd-party vendors

One of The MULTOS Consortium's key roles is to assist in the promotion of innovative products and services that support the MULTOS and MULTOS step/one smart card platforms, from a variety of world-class vendors. The MULTOS Consortium works to ensure that all product and services can be provided to end-user customers from whichever source they desire. We publish the technical information needed to develop applications, card personalization solutions, card management systems and this enables a completely open supply chain for every MULTOS component.

Some of our key partners are the MULTOS OS Implementors, Dai Nippon Printing, Hitachi, Keycorp, Samsung SDS, Texas Instruments and Ubnics. They provide a range of interoperable MULTOS platforms that are compatible with any application product or personalization solution. Many of these suppliers are also members of The MULTOS Consortium.

StepNexus Services Partners

The StepNexus Services Partner programme is operated by StepNexus Services in order to simplify the process of issuing MULTOS cards. Card Issuers may choose to have an indirect relationship with the StepNexus Services via a StepNexus Services Partner. These organisations are usually card manufacturers or data processing services who are experienced with the MULTOS scheme, and perform the day-to-day processing of MULTOS smart card enablement and application certificate requests on behalf of the Card Issuer.

MULTOS Product Directory

The MULTOS Consortium actively maintains the MULTOS Product Directory, a resource to assist Card Issuers or other customers to find a product, service or vendor.
